Scott brings over 15 years of experience in research governance, strategic policy, and commercial management across the university sector. Prior to joining UniSC, he held senior roles at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), where he provided leadership in research strategy, legal and commercial research services, and institutional governance.
With a strong background in contract negotiation, risk management, and research performance planning, Scott is committed to supporting high-impact research through robust systems and effective stakeholder engagement. His collaborative leadership style and deep understanding of the research landscape contribute to a forward-thinking and agile Office of Research.
