Noosa Community Foundation Bursary

Scholarship applications are now open and will close on 30 November 2025.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by 27 February 2026.

The Noosa Community Foundation (NCF) Bursaries will support Noosa-based students with financial need and enrolled in any undergraduate program at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

Bursary payments will be made approximately three weeks after Census Date, once enrolment has been confirmed.

Please Note:  The number of bursaries available in each study period varies and this bursary is offered on a study periodic basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given study period, the bursary will not be awarded.

Eligibility
  • Continuing 2nd year or above student having successfully completed a minimum of 96 units
  • Enrolled full-time in any undergraduate program at UniSC
  • resident of the Noosa Shire
  • Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, Permanent Australian Humanitarian Visa holder or Permanent Resident of Australia
Selection criteria
  • financial need
  • hours worked in paid employment or commitment to activities that impact on the time available for the student to study (e.g. compulsory fieldwork placement, significant carer responsibilities)
  • preference will be given to previous recipients of the Noosa Community Foundation Bursary in subsequent study periods, subject to continued eligibility
  • consideration will be given to applicants expressing interest in working within the Noosa Shire community post-graduation
