Sunshine Coast Arts Foundation Scholarship

Scholarship applications are now open and will close on 30 November 2025.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by 27 February 2026.

The role of Sunshine Coast Arts Foundation is to provide funding opportunities to support the growth of the arts on the Sunshine Coast in line with its Creative Arts Plan. The Sunshine Coast Arts Foundation Scholarship will support Creative Industries students enrolled in an undergraduate Bachelor level program at UniSC.

Each Scholarship is valued at $5,000 over two study periods. One scholarship will be made available each year and will be paid to the recipient as a lump sum of $2,500 in each study period after enrolment has been confirmed three weeks after Census Date in the relevant study period.

Please Note: This scholarship is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the scholarship will not be awarded.

Eligibility
  • full-time or part-time undergraduate student enrolled in any Bachelor-level Creative Industries program (including combined programs) at UniSC
  • successful completion of a minimum 96 units (equivalent to one-year full time study)
  • Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, Permanent Australian Humanitarian Visa holder or permanent resident of Australia.
Selection criteria
  • financial need
  • expressed interest in developing a career in the arts
  • hours worked in paid employment or commitment to activities that impact on the time available for the student to study (e.g. compulsory fieldwork placement, 
    significant carer responsibilities)
  • academic merit
