safeTALK training provides members of our community with practical knowledge of how to identify someone who may be experiencing thoughts of suicide and link them to further support.
Workshop features:
- Four-hour training workshop to increase suicide alertness, contributing to a suicide-safer community
- Learn simple yet effective TALK steps: Tell, Ask, Listen, and KeepSafe
- Hands-on skills practice and development
- Expect to feel challenged, empowered and hopeful
- Certificate of attendance and workbooks provided
- Delivered by a Master LivingWorks accredited trainer with over 10 years industry experience

A$134 for four hours of training and a certificate of completion

Please note that the focus of this training is on learning skills to support others. These skills are intended for persons 15 years or older and are not intended for younger people. Please note that this workshop does not include youth suicidality, individualised therapy or bereavement support. It is also not appropriate for anyone who has experienced a suicide bereavement in at least the last 12 months. Please consider whether this training is right for you before attending.
