Scholarships and bursaries can provide financial support throughout your studies to relieve financial pressures and allow you more time to focus on your study.
Scholarship and bursary applications for Study Period 1 are open from 1 September - 30 November (in the year prior) and for Study Period 2, 1 April - 31 May.
In addition to UniSC's main undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships, Indigenous students are encouraged to apply for the following:
- Indigenous Student Success Program (ISSP) - commenced on 1 January 2017 and subsumed the former Commonwealth Scholarships Program (CSP). ISSP scholarships include:

Headstart Students
- Headstart Indigenous Scholarship - Study Periods 1 and 2
- The Headstart Program is designed to create a seamless transition from school to university allowing Year 11 and 12 students to complete accredited undergraduate university courses while still at school. An Indigenous specific scholarship is available.
- Buranga Centre Continuing Headstart Scholarship - Study Period 1
Tertiary Preparation Pathway Students
